I have laid before the Zorês Commissionera

of Els Bjesty's Treasury æ. Robinson's letter of

the 24th instant (X 6106/3219/505) relative to the

remneration in future of the Chief Justloe at jong kong

ngħal

for his services as Appeal Judge at Shanghai and of

the Judge of the Supreme Court at Shangnal for his

services as Appeal Judge at Hong œng.

In reply I am to request you to Inform the

Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs that yy Lords

sanction, subject to review in three years' time,

the arrange sent now proposed, vis. that for each visit

to Hongwong, Kia mjesty's Judge at Shanghal shall

receive from the Hongkong Goverment a fee of fifty

gulness together with travelling expenses and

subsistence allowance as hitherto, a similar fee being

paid to the Chief Justice at Hong con or the Pulene
